Finished this over Christmas and thought it was pretty good. Anybody else seen it? A story about the hunt for the Unabomber that is divided between a cat-and-mouse hunt and the development of a new style of forensic investigation. Sam Worthington plays Jim Fitzgerald a freshly minted FBI agent who is passionate about his skillset (comparative linguistics) but whose idealism and inexperience see him make a number of rookie mistakes that upset his bosses (like Holden Ford in Mindhunter). Also co-stars Paul Bettany, Chris Noth, Lily Collins and Mark Duplass. Directed by Greg Yaitanes who made the excellent Quarry last year. A thoughtful drama rather than an action-packed thriller Yaitanes and his writing team manage to draw nice parallels between the Unabomber and the protagonists, and they touch on the themes covered by the Unabomber's manifesto in a subtle but thought-provoking manner.
