Manhattan T3-R problems with series record

We've had our Manhattan recorder for a few weeks now and are happy with it in many ways. Finding the recordings list somewhat tricky to understand (1 of 2 means that programme 2 is the first one of the pair recorded - not to intuitive). The one problem that has arisen is that when we've programmed a series record the box has started to record the programmes and then just cancelled the series. For example have tried to series record CH4 news (we prefer to watch it later in the evening than broadcast). The box has successfully recorded 3 or 4 episodes but then stopped - and there is nothing in scheduled recordings. Anyone got any suggestions?

That is a bummer. Not had the same problem but will keep on eye on my series recordings.

I too noticed this problem recently. It happened with scheduled recording of 'Only Connect' on BBC2. I wondered that if you watch, then delete, the last recorded episode in the folder, so that the folder is empty, the rest of the series to be recorded, is cancelled.
Anyone else had this problem?

I’ve not noticed that with recordings of Battlestar Galactica on BBC2HD. As soon as I‘ve watched something I delete it. Have ypu raised the issue with Manhattan?

I Have had my Manhattan T3r for about 6 months it is good but I have an issue with recording series like Marykin some programmes it records no problem but Money for nothing bbc1 and salvage Hunters on Quest and a few others I have to keep rescheduling. I have contacted Manhattan and they recommend a reset which I have done to no avail.

I would say get back to Manhattan if it's not fixed. You can raise an issue on their website.
