I would like to make VCDs of home movies on my PC. I have seen an American Hi8 camcorder. Will the fact that it is not PAL stop me? Now the stupid question, will the footage automatically be mpeg1 or 2. Isee that video editing needs much hard drive space, but I read that a VCD, mpeg1, can be 30 minutes long, with a 700mb CD-R. Thanks for your help, any would be appreciated:confused:
