Don't know if anyone else recorded or watched the 10 minute documentary on BBC HD last night about making "Silent Witness" in HD. Excellent programme, with interviews with director of photography, etc., talking about:
- The special Arriflex D-20 cameras used to create a film-effect using a digital camera.
- Use of 35mm lenses to reduce the depth of field to give a more "natural" look.
- The need to spend a lot of time and money on lighting.
- All the other usual topics - make-up, set design, etc.
