Making a scart cable from an existing 3 phono component cable?

    I have a Supra AV3 component video cable and was wondering if i could adapt it into an RGB scart cable.
    Would two of these suffice?

    With regards to the 4th phono need for the sync, can i use any old rubbish phono, or will this result in a poorer video signal.
