Making a projector screen

    Hello. I have heard people mention on this site that a large projection screen can be made relatively easily. Is there a thread stating how to make these, (sorry, but i have tried searching but with no luck. Also, does the quality of the picture suffer when using a homemade screen.

    Check the link below this one on the forums page, lots of details there, I made a topper 7ft by 4ft from blackout cloth, for around £30.

    If you have a look in the FAQ at the top of this forum you'll find links with very good instructions on how to make a fixed screen with blackout lining - shouldn't cost you much more than £20-ish. As for performance, it's not quite as good as using proper screen material from the likes of Harkness Hall or DRH, but it's a very decent job.
