Please help as i need some advice. I am extremely new to this home cinema thing and lack some valuable knowledge. I have just recently had a go at my first home cinema room (http://mysite.wanadoo-members.co.uk/noyce)

I have a harman kardon amp, harman kardon dvd player and panasonic PTAE300 projector. My question is, if i was to purchase a video scaler (i am looking at this one (Silicon Image (DVDO) iScan HD) would i notice much of an improvement in my picture quality? It reads as if i can up the resolution from 480p.

Any comments very much appreciated and please forgive my ignorance if this is a stupid question.
