Has anyone had any experience with thesemains filters?
I have been considering buying these for a while now, but as I'm going to need 4 or 5 of them it would work out quite a bit dearer than standard 2g switches.

Does anyone think that its worth while? Or a stupid waste of money?

    Cheers Ricky

Theyre only surge protectors, they won't do any filtering.

Sorry I had been looking at a thread on mains filters which reminded me about the surge protecters on screwfix.

So are they pointless? Would a mains surge damage expensive H/C equiptment.

    And whats a clean earth?

    thanks Ricky
