    Hi Chaps

Got some Mission 773's ( non sheilded) and a new 36PD30 TV. How close can I safely have my speakers to my TV??

Normally about 1 to 2 feet away if the drivers are on the same level as the crt gun, if the speaker towers over the crt gun you can get away with a couple of inches as I did for years.

Handy trick, if you have a test DVD like Avia or Video Essentials go to a convergence calibration and keep nearing the distance from the speaker to the TV untill you see the colours get messy, simply place the speakers at the distance just before they affect the TV (this assumes you want to get the speakers as close to the TV as possible).
