I was looking into purchasing some B&W 602.5 for my frony left and right, but i've just found out these are not magnetically shielded.

It is essential that I've got speakers that are, as they will be place right next to my TV ( unfortunate room shape dictates this ) Does any one have any suggestions for speaker ranges that are magnetically shielded ?

One thought I did have was to use 3 B&W center speakers, one for the center and the other two as left and right.

any pointers would be greatly appreciated

    Cheers

    Thanks Jase,

I will have a look at these. Do you know how good they are Musically and not just in an AV capactiy ?

Are there any other brands worth looking at that are Magnetically shielded ?

    Cheers

Not heard those latest B&W´s but the last series were pretty good allrounders and sounded good for both music & movies.

Other brands worth looking at are the KEF Q range, M&K LCR series and K Series also worth checking out Missions range of speakers.

Have a look at their sites:

    www.kef.com

    www.mksound.com

    www.mission.co.uk

    Hope this helps

    cheers

    Thanks again Jase,

Those Kef Q range look particularly nice, I might have to try and audition them this weekend.

    Cheers

only the centre's are shielded. I sold my LCR60 S3 to a chap who wanted to team it with another as mains. looked nice when i put it on my atacama's for him. The r60 is 130 watts and has a rear port.
