    Hi

I know magnetic interference can cause problems with TVs, but is that the same for audio equipment. Would placing a sub next to my AV amp, dvd player, sky or PS2 cause them problems. Another question is would it also degrade the quality of the sound produced.

I have a BK XLS200 which is not a shielded sub.

    Thanks

    Russell

    Hi Russell

The magnetic field should not degrade the sound quality of your equipment, just be aware that it will cause problems with your CRT or any magnetic media.
