Magic Eye

I have a Sky+ Box in my lounge and I have used a magic eye in the past - connected to a bedroom TV’s aerial socket (no Sky box here).
The bedroom tv packed up and I didn’t replace it.
Later, I had a Sky HD box installed in my back conservatory, but I only have the full Sky viewing package at this location.
I now want to put another TV set in my bedroom, but I want the magic eye to pick up the HD box- not the Sky+ Box.
How do I do this?
PS. Power RF is “ON” for both Sky boxes. Will turning it off for the Sky+ Box mean the magic eye will automatically pick up the HD Box?
Or do I need to do something else?

You need to run a coax cable from the RF out on the SkyHD box to the bedroom TV and tune the TV on it's analogue tuner to RF CH68 (unless this channel has been changed but CH68 is the default).
The TV Link (Magic eye) is only needed to enable remote control of the Sky box. You can still receive the Sky signal without it but you'd need to control the Sky box where it's located.
The two Sky boxes aren't linked in any way.

Thanks for your reply.
I already have an aerial loop for 4 sockets in the house- from a splitter box in the loft.
I haven’t bought a tv for the bedroom yet but, before I do, I need to make sure my magic eye will pick up the Sky HD Box-and not the other Sky plus Box, as it previously did.
No, the two sky boxes aren’t linked .
Once I’ve tuned the new tv to RF68, how do I make sure it picks up the HD Box?
Kind regards

Is it the small SkyHD DRX595 box (check the label on the bottom) as supplied by Sky for Multiroom use years ago?

No, it’s a black box with a light grey front - model R020.088.35.03P.
See photo.

That's the software model number.
I need the hardware model no printed on a label on the underside of the box.

DRX890C.
I hope this helps- and thanks for your kind interest.

That's a Sky+HD box, not a SkyHD (The SkyHD box doesn't record and doesn't have RF in/out sockets)
Just make sure you connect a coax lead from it's RF2 out to the remote TV.
