Hi Guys,

Have recently moved house and tried to set up my eye as i had done before from my HD box - only difference in my set up is that I used the coax via the plate in the living room and disconnected the other end from the aerial in the loft to attach my eye - the picture is great and i have a light on the eye but it now won't change channel!

Any pointers before I buy a new eye?

Have tried the eye direct into the HD box and it seems to work fine????

It's not entirely clear what changes you made but if they include adding a wallplate into the system that could be preventing the remote control signal from returning to the receiver.

Ok, I didn't add the wall plate deliberately, but utilised the fact that it was there with coax up to the small loft space which is just above he main bedroom (3 storey house).

Can i safely assume that wall plates affect the signal?

Yes, and fortunately someone who knows more about these things than I do has helpfully just said what to do to get over the problem.

Cheers Fellas!

Just so happens there are a couple of these already in the house I shall remove one and refit in the living room :)
