Magic Eye Sound interference

Hi guys, I have a magic eye set up in my bedroom from my Sky HD box downstairs.

The picture quality is perfect and the remote works great as well but I have constant background sound interference on the telly. It's pretty hard to discribe the sound its sort of a muffled echo but it is there all the time whilst watching Sky.

The Tv works great when on normal channels.

Does anyone know what could be causing this and a possible fix?

Many thanks

A couple of things I would try:

1. Reduce the Volume level in "Settings" on the Sky box
2. Change the RF channel number on the Sky box.

Are you feeding the terrestrial signals through the Sky box? Are they OK?

Im no expert but i had sound interference on mine and I used a decoupled lead as shown on satcure site. Can make one yourself in 5-10 mins it hasnt cured all my interference problems but it did take care of the sound issues.

Thanks guys for the repsonses - sorry for not getting back sooner but been away

Neil - not feeding those channels through Sky box all I have done is put a cable into RF out on Sky Box and fed it to the Magic Eye in the Bedroom.

Davey - sorry but could you explain what you mean by "Decoupled lead" please or give me a link to the site you mentioned

Thanks again all

This is what I copied

Decoupling coaxial cable to avoidground loops

It cured some of my problems especially the sound interference. Will cost you next to nothing to try and 10 mins of your time. So although not guaranteed to work it's worth a try.
