It's also on BBC HD in glorious high definition. A really great first series, cannot wait for this second series tonight.

It certainly made me appreciate redheads again!

Amen, she is ravishing. It is also on BBC2 11:20 11th Feb. Is the PQ likely to be better on BBC2 than BBC4? I'm just watching season 1 on bluray at the moment so hopefully I won't get too much of a shock regarding picture quality.

This was worth the wait and i for one would say that there aren't many shows around today that ooze that certain air of style and class in the space of an hour long show.Yes folks the king of COOL is back

Don Draper and he's back with some more interesting tales of his own murky past.I watched the first episode of season 2 last week and was gripped from start to finish. It was like the romantic notion of the

suave 50's and 60's rolled into your living room,it was like being in a museum but this time the museum came to you.It has everything a viewer could ask for, romance, secrets, ambience, sophistication and the

office filled with style in every corner you turn.

When they were trying to get the comedian to apologize to the fat woman after he called said hurtful things about her weight at the advert shoot, later at dinner she said she understood his material sometimes offended people, 'but she did not have the stomach for it' - boy did he want to say something, and ended up biting on his fist. :rotfl:

Really enjoying the series - this is one of my favourite current television shows.

Does anyone know how many future series are planned?

Loved the second series. Really hope they get around to making the third.

Apparently there's some sticking issues around the creator's (Matthew Weiner) money demands. I hope his greed doesn't sink it.

    Looked fantastic in HD too.

Hi guys, how high would you rate this show? Would it be something you would instantly recommend, or a show to watch if the usual suspects have run out?

    Thanks

I think it's the best US show currently in production. It's in the same league of something like The Wire or The Sopranos and if you like those shows you may like this too. It also may just be the most stylish looking show ever made. It doesn't look like television, every episode feels like a feature film and an extremely good one at that.

Thanks Todd, I was pretty confident because they screen it on BBC Four and am pretty happy with their choice of programming. Will give it a look.
