I'm sure someone's asked this before but ....

I want a cheap (and not too bothered about quality) way of removing macrovision from a 3 phono -> scart composite connection, I know there's lot's of fancy powered gadgets to do this, I already have an RGB->S-Video converter that removes it, but need something so I can copy extracts of DVD films to tape.

I know it's illegal but I'm doing a film studies course and the class has to analyse a 15 minute extract of certain films, however the college is stuck in the dark ages and only has VHS or region 2 DVD, and I've chosen Memento which is only on region 1.

So if someone could give me some idea how to do it cheaply I'd appreciate it.

    Cheers

Cheers Quicksilver, I'm pretty sure there's no handset hack it's either a Sony PS2 or a Toshiba SD9000.
