i have been using a white macbook pro for several years and it does get warm, but currently just running a mid 2009 15.4 macbook pro in parallel and not sure whether it's this model or a combination of the aluminium design, pro design, but the the underside is HOT!

is this usual for all macbook pro's or just of this generation?

Ideally would like to upgrade to an i core series, so was wandering do these get HOT too?

it's operation is quiet, but the underside at the back middle and left is almost too hot to touch and i can feel the left side of keyboard running warm, is this normal?
