MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015)

    2.5GHz Processor
    256 GB Storage

    • 2.5GHz quad-core Intel Core i7
    • Turbo Boost up to 3.7GHz
    • 16GB 1600MHz memory
    • 256GB PCIe-based flash storage1
    • Intel Iris Pro Graphics
    • AMD Radeon R9 M370X with 2GB GDDR5 memory

This isn't boxed sadly so will need to be collected, it will come with a Thunderbolt Ethernet adapter (boxed) and extra MagSafe 2 charger.

There are a couple of scratches underneath which I will take pics of tomorrow and AppleCare has now expired. This was originally upgraded with the 1TB SSD and swapped out for the smaller 256GB, this does have the M370X so only difference is the SSD size. I was considering purchasing a replacement on eBay but I think I will just purchase the 2016 model.

    Price and currency: 1000
Delivery: Goods must be exchanged in person
    Payment method: BT/CASH
    Location: Warrington
    Advertised elsewhere?: Yes
Prefer goods collected?: I prefer the goods to be collected

    Could be interested in this?

Can you post pictures of scratches etc?

Also not sure of all the differences between Macbook models, what is the exact model number so that I can look it up?

It's the latest model that's still for sale now.

Thanks, but can you post me info as per Apple instructions

    'Model identifier

Find your model identifier in the System Report:

    1. Choose About This Mac from the Apple () menu in the upper-left corner of your screen.
    2. Click System Report.
The model identifier is listed in the Hardware Overview.'

Also the serial number is useful to prevent confusion - pm me this info if you don't want to post on the thread.

    Thanks

I wonder if buyers are waiting for more pictures/info?

I will be very interested if you could post pics of it actually working with screen shots of its hardware and software - have a look at POB's listing for a Macbook Air 13inch 2015 for example. That's the sort of detail I was hoping to see.

(My apologies to POB, hope you don't mind!)

    Thanks!

I'll look this up and see if I'm still interested.

Any idea of your bottom price?

You don't have the 1Tb SSD somewhere, as that's what I'd be looking to use?

I think £950 is very fair.

Nope I don't sorry, eBay has them. Not sure if you can buy a Samsung one of your own, that might be an option.

Still mulling....thinking that the price will tumble when newer are announced very, very soon. :-(

How easy is it to put in and SSD into one of these, is it a DIY proposition?

I've got a Sumsung 850 EVO SSD I never fitted to my (now ex) Mac Mini, would that fit?

Hope someone can comment on this, thanks!

I doubt it, it's already cheap for a 2015 model and the reason for advertising it was to order a new one tomorrow.

That SSD isn't suitable sorry, it's PCI-E that's in the newer models, the only thing that might would a Samsung M.2 but I have a feeling they're a slightly different size in the MacBooks.

Advertised locally and already had an offer to collect. Will archive if it's not a time waster.

Good, glad that you have serious local interest as realise that your macbook was not for me. Need a version that will accept a sata ssd.

Hope your sale goes through OK.

Do you mind if I ask how much it sold for in the app? Seems like a great laptop!
