For sale - my early 2011 upgraded MacBook Pro (version 8.2). Key specs: i7 quad core 2.0 processor RAM upgraded to 12 GB Dual SSD (both 256 GB) - the stock Apple drive, and a Crucial M4 installed where the optical bay was using an optibay-style caddy (I can provide you with the optical drive too obviously). Thunderbolt, ethernet, FW800, 2x USB ports S/PDIF I/O (optical) A few tiny scratches / blemishes but no dents. Power charger included and I have a laptop case you can take too. I'll have a look for the original box. Currently running Snow Leopard 10.6.8 but I will happily do a Mountain Lion 10.8.2 install (or 10.8.3 if it comes out in the next few days!) Applecare until March 2014. Serial number is C02FG01FDF8Y - I have upgraded it as described above. I've used it for mainly for making music with Logic. If you are interested in using it for this too, bear in mind that as well as USB/FW (and thunderbolt) audio interfaces, you can use the s/pdif input if you have a preamp with an optical output. I used my audient mico like this, and got super-low latency... (the s/pdif effectively goes straight to the bus). Also, I found having 2 SSDs ideal for recording - 1 for OS, apps etc, and 1 for recording onto. I'm looking for £1200, collection in London preferred. Happy to put photos up.
