Hello! Up for sale is my trusty old MacBook Pro, moving it on after buying an Air on here after Christmas. It is a late 2008 model, but carries the same spec as the later 2009 models. The case is in great condition for its age (better than my 2011 MBA!), with an 8mm scratch on the top left corner, a very light 40mm surface scratch near the middle with a small indent next to it (less than 5mm across). The corners are a little scuffed (i.e. discoloured aluminium) but this is just due to carrying it around in a sleeve. The underside is scratched as expected for a machine of this age. The inside and screen are near immaculate, no scratches or dings, it has been well looked after. The internal specs are: 2.66GHz Core 2 Duo 9600GT 512mb discrete graphics card (or you can use the processor graphics when on the battery) 8GB RAM 120GB OCZ Agility 3 and/or 320GB HDD OSX Mountain Lion Removable battery (very handy!) The battery is in great shape, runs for around 3 hours with moderate usage. Coconut battery says 560 cycles with 89% designed capacity. There is a latch on the bottom that can be released to access the battery, something they should have continued with the later models! A really fast machine regardless of its age, the 8GB RAM allows it to keep up in every situation. The discreet graphics card is good enough to run older games at a decent frame rate (last game i played on it was COD MW2, handled it fine!). It was the model below the maxxed out spec at the time. This machine also has a HDD caddy in the superdrive slot, hence the option to have 2 hard drives above. I do also have the original superdrive somewhere but assume it's a 'freebie' as I can't promise it still works! I have the original box and charger for the machine.
