I’m selling a Space Grey MacBook Pro 13” with touchbar that was purchased in June of this year directly from Apple.

This was purchased as a refurbished machine but don’t let that put you off, there’s not a mark on it and runs like a dream. Warranty will run until next June and I’ll include a Belkin Ethernet adapter too.

Reason for sale is that I’m selling my MacBook/iPad for Surface Pro - it covers two devices in one and it’s more compatible with systems I use at work.

Here’s the spec:

Touch Bar with integrated Touch ID sensor

13.3-inch (diagonal) LED-backlit display with IPS technology; 2560x1600 native resolution at 227 pixels per inch

8GB of 2133MHz LPDDR3 onboard memory

256GB SSD

720p FaceTime HD camera

Intel Iris Plus Graphics 655

No trades, thanks.

Price and currency: 1100
Delivery: Delivery cost is not included
Payment method: Bank transfer
Location: Glasgow
Advertised elsewhere?: Not advertised elsewhere
Prefer goods collected?: I have no preference

When you say refurbished, do you know what was wrong with it in the first place?

Also do you have the receipt for it?

And I assume this is the new 2019 version?

I don’t know what - if anything - was wrong with it. It could be an ex-display machine, or a customer return after opening it. Apple go into a bit more detail on their site:

Refurbished Mac

Yes, I have a digital receipt which I’ll email to the successful buyer showing the purchase date of June this year. Warranty will run until June 2020 as a result.

I believe it’s the July 2018 model - 2.3ghz processor instead of 2.4ghz in the new model. Better integrated graphics though - intel 655 vs 645 in the new model.

Ok thanks for clearing that up... shame it’s the 2018 model. The new one also has an Intel 655 in the 2.4GHz model.

I’ll think about what I’d like to offer....

Looking up on past sales on here with the same model MacBook etc, I’d like to make you an offer of £800.

(A like new 2019 just went for £1065
And the same 2018 with £180 of accessories went for £1035)

Also I assume if it’s the 2.3GHz model, it also has four thunderbolt3 ports?

Sorry but £800 is too low, and yeah it has four USB C ports.

Thanks for the counter-offer. I’ll increase mine to £900 delivered.
(I assume this comes boxed and with the charger etc)

Yes, it comes in the box in the image above and with charger.

I'll hold out for £950, I'm not in a rush but thanks for the offer.
