Has anybody here had a good experience with a Macbook Pro replacement battery? Which manufacturers of Macbook Pro replacement batteries have a good reputation for reliability? I've seen reviews for IFixit, Duracell-Direct and the Amazon-available after-market batteries that claim the batteries have not retained charge or have a capacity of 60% or less after a short period of use.

I'm currently cleaning the inside of my MBP and changing the thermal paste, noticed slight bumps on the battery and suspect it may be beginning to swell. It has been telling me for the past year that battery condition is 'replace soon' so would like to do that while I have the Macbook open.

I paid Apple £199 for a brand new battery to be fitted back in 2019. I've had mixed experiences of buying third party batteries online in the past.
