Is it running Yosemite? I'd be interested in offering £320.

Thanks Angel. Kind of you, but to send it insured costs quite a lot.
So many delivery services exclude MacBooks from compensation.
If I can't clear a decent whack, I'll try it on Gumtree:)

I'm not a serious photo editor but have used iPhoto, Graphicconverter and Photos and all perform very well. But my editing is restricted to enhancing, cropping, resizing using built in functions. My images are up to 8mb in size.
If you are looking to edit very high resolution RAW images, I think this may be a bit small for you. It is an 11" screen.

I'm not an experienced photographer by any means, just bought myself a decent dslr and wanted something that's good for general editing, ie cropping, clarity, exposure, contrast etc, and also maybe something with filters, they would be raw images at 23mp though as they hold the most detail for editing

Sorry, I can't advise on this. I think that you would need a more powerful machine.

Cheers mate, I'll have a Google on the editing capabilities of your model and see what it says, I don't want to spend a fortune as it will just be used for photo editing, thanks for your honesty though

not great for photos at all! airs are weak on the graphics and screen side of things. I believe they struggle to run photoshop aswell, if you would want to use that.

best off using a macbook pro! i didnt even bother trying to use my air for photo work.

I would consider taking an iPhone in PX - would need to be unlocked or O2 / Tesco
