Is it easy to do? anyone know of any resources or guides to help me achieve this.

thanks

Are you referring to making a 'Hackintosh'?

I have a spare 10GB partition on my Windows 7 PC and would like to see if I could Install and dual boot to Mac OS on that partition.

thanks.

That process is called making a 'Hackintosh'. Mac OS X does not natively support being installed on non-Apple Hardware, so therefore various patches need to be done in order to get it working. They can be a PITA to make (haven't tried it personally) and don't work anywhere near as well as the real deal. I also believe that 10GB isn't enough for an OS X install; how about a virtual machine?

well, OS X Leopard requires at a minimum, 9GB and OS X Snow Leopard needs 5GB

in terms of help, this is not usually allowed on AVF so you're best off using a dedicated forum (of which there are loads)
