Mac mini with pf 9986

Has anyone used the philips 9986 DVI input to connect a pc or mac before?
The new apple mac mini has DVI out, but what are the pro's and con's.
and would they be compatible links.

I've got a Philips PF9966 42" panel and am contemplating buying the Mac Mini and hook it up as my living room PC.

But I'm not too sure the image will actually be acceptable so I hope someone in this forum can share their experience.

I briefly looked at the Mac Mini but it seems it is not powerful enough to play HDTV, and that would be one of my uses. So, back to Intel hardware.

Marc, i've just got a pf9986 and i have got the mini mac, but have not had time to wire it up yet, if u can wait till the weekend i will update this post.
