mac mini external drive

Hi all,
Just bought an oldish mac mini from the classified to get used to the "mac world" before splashing out on something bigger and better. Basically to see if I like it.
The hard drive is 60gb and was wondering can anybody please recommend an external plug and play drive to extend the capacity. (cheepish)

Come on guys, bought a mac mini and not being very au fait, I am just looking for some advice. Probably 500GB.
