    hi guys (and girls),

is it possible to output a component video signal via the dvi/vga socket on the mac mini?
my plasma has a dvi input but it is currently been used for my dvd player using a component-dvi adapter. If the mac can output a component signal then the solution is simple, run the dvd player and mac through my amps switcher.

my other option would be to run the mac mini as my dvd player and scrap the dvb player all together.

    what do you guys think?

    thanks

    sam.

    Hi,

If you look at the other thread on this subject, the answer is probably no.
