Could someone please help me decide on a HD media player that is MAC compatible, with a built in hard drive. The files i normally like to store and play are normally AVI and XViD.
I have looked at the pixel magic one but it seems to have quite a few problems, does anyone know of any more.

    Thanks

    Sam:thumbsup:

I was recently looking for a similar player recently and did go for the Pixel Magic. I went for a high quality internal secret which is the secret. Plays files faultlessly including HD 1080P TS files with no stuttering at all.

Why have you taken it off your shopping list?

    Hi thanks for your reply.

I have not ruled out the pixel magic player as they all have or seem to have their own teething problems. I was just asking if any other player was more compatible for a IMAC.
Problem wise i was reading on the pixel magic forum site that some of the members are for and against it like any other equipment(AV gear). A case of reading to much into it i suppose.
Have you ever come across any problems with it?
Also can you delete files from it?

    Thanks:clap:

    Sam.

You can move and delete folders and files in the normal way when the Pixel Magic is connected to a computer via USB. It can crash occasionally after you remove the USB link but a reset sorts that.

That is the only problem I have had.

Don't forget the forum is for owners experiencing problems. You won't read about the satisfied owners on there.

Apart of a teething probs the main drawback of PM media players that they wont support H.264..
have look at the specs .. H.264, Ogg, FLAC, AAC and 1080P - it might be exactly what I was waiting (so long) for..
