Thinking of changing my front 3 speakers.

Taking into consideration the tiny size of my room (see sig), what would be your recommendation between the following?

Monitor Audio Bronze, B2 fronts and B centre

    or

Acoustic Energy Aegis Evo, Evo 1 fronts and Evo centre

    Rears to follow later

note that the front left will be close to the side wall and the right to a bookcase

Particularly looking for a nice warm sound :lease:

If you have any other recommendations please feel free to share.

Would love to audition various speakers, but my nearest dealer is 60+miles away . Too much like hard work

    Thanks in advance

I would go for Monitor Audio out of the two options. The B2 has been raved about for a while now. Meant to be excellent! Then again, the Acoustic Energy are also fantastic. From reading reviews the Monitor Audios will have a warmer sound. I've also seen a pair of small B1s on nice stands in a hifi shop window, and they look the part!

The Evo's also need a lot of breathing space. the manual recommends 1.5 meters from room boundries and not in corners. Fantastic speakers though :smashin:

    Hi,

The AE evo speakers are the warmer sounding of the two.

    Good luck!!

    Hi,

    Thanks for all the advise.

I have decided to go for the AE's for the moment. Found the centre second hand here on the forums and the Evo 1's for a good price online.

Now just have to wait for it all to arrive
