What's best postiion for my M7DS side surrounds in a 6.1 setup?

Sofa is up against the rear wall, listening position is therefore 14 inches from rear wall. (Due to uncoviced family members, I can't adjust this! :( )

I'll be putting my M7DS surround speakers high up close to the ceiling on the side wall and inverted (advised by Mission). A centre rear speaker on the rear wall.

Question is: When I put up the side-surrounds, what distance should I choose away from the rear wall/corner? I heard if the M7DS should be (plan view) either on the side or behind the listening position, but if they're too close to the corner then you'll get unnecessary reflected sound from the rear wall.

    Any advice?

    Thanks.

In line with the listening position should be OK which will be about a couple of feet in from the rear wall. That's where I had mine (and about a foot down from the ceiling)
