Sorry I'm a little behind the times but can anyone tell me how I can convert itunes M4P files to MP3s. I've just bought my first album for a couple of years and very quickly realised I can't burn it to CD because of itunes protection. Am I missing something or do I need to convert the M4P files to MP3s?

    Thanks in advance!

If the software will not breach forum rules, perhaps explain how you resolved this?

iTunes itself allows you to burn a CD even from DRM protected tracks viz. iTunes help:

"Usage rights for iTunes Store purchases
Many of the songs you purchase from the iTunes Store are protected by Digital Rights Management (DRM). These protected purchases can be:

■Played on up to five computers

    ■Synced with your iPod

■Synced with or streamed to your Apple TV

■Burned to audio CDs or DVDs (as part of a playlist) up to seven times"

You can then rip such an audio CD back into mp3 format if you so desire.
