For sale are two identical M&K LCR speakers in black finish, ideal as the front three in a 5.1 system or as high quality surround speakers. The speakers are in perfect working order and are cosmetically very good, with no major nicks or chips.

These speakers use same tweeter as reference M&K THX speakers with full Phase-Focused crossover. Can be used in stereo pairs, or as LCR or surround speaker in 5.1 surround systems. The speakers have an acoustically inert curved mesh metal grille. Features the M&K High Frequency Prism Design. Magnetically shielded.

    Specification:

    Drivers: (1) 1" dome, (1) 5 ¼" poly
    Impedance: 4 Ohms
    Frequency Response: 87 Hz - 20 KHz ± 3dB
    Finish: Black; Black Grille
    Dimensions: 10 3/16" H x 6 7/8" W x 8 1/4" D
    Weight: 11 lbs. each

I do not have the original boxes for these speakers so collection would be preferred, but I can package them securely for courier delivery if you wish. Buyer to arrange courier collection from me.

    Price and currency: £130.00
Delivery: Delivery cost is not included
Payment method: PayPal Gift or Bank Transfer
    Location: Grantham

Sure - I am away from home today but will do them tomorrow. What is it that you are interested in on the back?

My interest in the back is as regards mounting them onto the wall as I've had to make spacers before to use the supplied bolt fixing points.

    Regards

Ah right. I see what you mean. I have used an Omnimount before with these as they have the standard screw fixing for the Omnimount. I didn’t use a spacer, but I would have done if I had needed more rotation on the speakers to get them angled correctly. I'll post an image of the back for you asap.

Just to be going on with, here is an image off Google. Does that show what you need or do you want me to take a close-up or anything?

Wicked little speakers, i had a set of three up until a couple of months back and upgraded to a set of 750's. Think mine went for £150 boxed but with some small nicks... Im not trying to price drive etc, just thought it might be handy info as these are not seen much and thats what mine were recently :)

    Cheers,

Thanks. I'm surprised I haven't even had an offer TBH. As you say, they are really good little speakers and make a great LCR set for a HT, partnered with a decent sub. Or two of them would make nice surround speakers. I actually have four of these speakers, so I wonder if I might get more response selling them as two separate pairs rather than a threesome?

How much would you be looking for for 4 delivered? I'm looking for another 2 b&w to make a 7.1 setup but I could be tempted with these

I am thinking about these to replace my m&k k5 lcr just not sure if they would be much of an upgrade. I may be tempted with one for the center which may help in selling 4 as this would leave you the 3 for the lrc.

I don't think so. I'll have to check the box they came in. I've used an OmniMount with them which is why I am not sure. The OM lets you aim the speaker.

But it's not a problem - Screwfix sell the exact same flush mounts for less than £2 for 10. If you want the speakers I'll knock 2 quid off the deal for you :)

Notifications are hit and miss for me too. I can't find the exact mount I used but these seem to be identical (and cheaper)....

Unimount 5 Home Cinema Speaker Wall Mount for Speakers up to up to 5Kg Black (Pair) - Connectronics - BT5/B

If you are flush mounting, the Screwfix ones I linked above are the best way to go.

You're right I do but can I afford them is the question...? I got LCR85's up front so these would be perfect but I'm kind of in a corner cash wise at the moment...

Well, at the current rate of interest in them, they may well still be here when you have the cash burning a big hole in your pocket. :)

Yeah - they'd be a good fit with the LCR85s.
