    Hi

I currently have an M&K K9 subwoofer in my setup. It performs really well, especially with music.

The only thing I would say against it is it could have a bit more slam down low, but considering it's size (very small), it does a pretty good job.

I have, however seen a second hand Ruark Log-Rhythm for sale at a very good price and am considering buying it and selling my M&K.

My main Speakers are Ruark Prelude IIs, so it should work well with them!!

All of the reviews I have seen of the Ruark sub say it is outstanding with music and good with movies too, but this seems to describe my K9 as well!!!

What I want to know is if anyone has experience with both of these subwoofers and could give me their opinion of the Log-Rhythm compared to the K9.

I would expect the Log-Rhythm to be better as it's a more expensive sub to start with (£800 vs £600), but you can't always go by that!!

    Thanks in advance
    Chez

I used to have a M&K K-9 and, would agree with your comments.
I really liked it, and it sounded good in my room but, not enough slam !

Even some comments from someone who has heard/used the Log-Rhythm would be helpful.

    Thanks in advance

If anyone has heard of it, or preferably actually heard it, any comments would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks
