Hi,

My paradigm CC350 bit the dust (xover blew) and I'm looking to slowly replace all speakers. I need to start with the centre and a friend suggested the M&K K5. I've looked about for feed back and it seems good (very good) but appears to be tiny  . I was wondering if anyone has feedback and any thoughts of how it would blend with my current system. CC350 was massive!

Does anyone have any good links on the K5's?

Cheers

I am using a pair of K5's for the front and a K7 for centre. They are really good speakers and amazing sound for such small cabinets. They do really need a good sub for the bit of grunt but otherwise they are the best speakers i've ever had.

I bought them as i had Kef floor standers and bookshelfs and they take up so much room. I wanted smaller speakers but didn't want to lost the aulit of sound.

Get a demo if you can.

The K5 will make an excellent centre speaker but that is irrelevant if it is a tonal missmatch for the two main speakersn and from reading reviews of the Paradigm it could well sound very different

Not the best idea to mix and match the front 3 speakers, try and keep them the same for the best sound... :)
