Are M&K K4's for side use any good for 7.1 when S85' are being used for L,C,R and rears?

Or are there any other alternatives? :)

Depends what you want to spend? M&k ss150 could be used and would suit look and tone of package, but are expensive.

To be honest the £500 for the K4's is pushing my limit :)

Just wondered if they would do the S85's justice. They wont be played at reference levels unless the missus and kids are out ;)

    Hi Ash
The k-4s will be fine with the s85s as you know they intergrate well with my m&k 850s they are also rated at 200 watts max power same as the s85.
    Cheers Gonzo. :)

    HI all. :)

Jack, I should soon be receiving a pair of S85 and a REL Q100e (hopefully at the beginning of the week).
They will be used with a S85C, a pair of K4s (as rears), and a Denon AVC-A11SR and DVD3800.
Not the same set-up as yours, but I will then be able to give you some feedback. ;)

    That would be good.

I have heard Gonzo's setup and it sounded good. So I will be getting a pair of K4's for sides :)
