Sorry for another post on this, I just need some 'final' feedback before I go and spend spend spend
But recently I was planning to get the Creative Gigaworks S750 speakers to use with my Xonar HDAV 1.3
That was... until I realised that Id need HDMI if I plan on getting DTS-HA Master Audio or Dolby TrueHD out of my PC!
So anyway, Creative can shove their crappy speakers - Ive come to the realisation that Im going to need a nice little receiver for my bedroom and some 'decent' 5.1 (eventually 7.1) speakers!
Soooooooo........ Ive decided on the TX-SR606 Onkyo amp... I have no doubts how excellent that will be.. I just need to decide on some speakers... I want to stick to around ~£500 and right now I'm leaning towards the M&K K1 set: MILLER and KREISEL K1 SYSTEM MILLER & KREISEL £649.00 at hifix.co.uk for £650
I was considering the Tannoy Arena Lites... but I keep hearing good things about the M&Ks... any suggestions, or will the K1 set fulfil my gaming + Blu-Ray needs?
One final question I have... is just a bit of confusion on my part....
For GAMES.. Im assuming Ill need to output the multichannel data via analogue (seeing as the soundcard will decode it) - and for Blu-Ray Ill want it to chuck it straight out of the HDMI, so the Onkyo can decode it.... (am I right so far?!)
There won't be any weird issues with having my PC connected to the Onkyo via HDMI + Analogue together.. right?
Any feedback gratefully received
