I am quite suprised this launch went unnoticed as M-Audio's impending consumer-level soundcard has been talked about both here and on AVS extensively. Press release: http://www.m-audio.net/news/pdf/M-Audio_Revolution_PR.pdf The great thing is the price - just $99. For that you'll probably get sound quality light years better than anything else in that price range, decent drivers, huge configurability, SRS Circle Surround II and decent physical I/O, i.e. RCA co-axial output (not a stupid minijack!) and well-spaced 3.5mm outputs. I think I remember reading a post by Cliff (M-Audio blokey at AVS) that the S/PDIF circuitary will be all but identical to the 410. Nice... I might get one for CSII of external sources, alone. Who wants to buy an Audigy 2? MuFu. P.S. Having said that, this A2 has exceeded my expectations by far. Probably a better soundcard than many people here would like to believe.
