I'm thinking over a few ideas about adding surround sound to a new Dell computer. Has anyone heard the M-Audio LX4 5.1 system? I would be using the surround sound for listening to music, movies and some games, not for creating music.
Would an M-Audio 5.1 soundcard give better audio quality for music than an X-Fi card? I was thinking of buying the X-Fi and combining it with a surround AV amp + speakers (ie Missions) - but now I've seen the M-Audio speakers I'm not so sure - which of these setups would give better sound quality. Please help, I'm confused!
