Hi,
most of the problems were solved by software updates over the last months, but at least one still remains. Hope they can fix it soon.

I always heard of you want Auro3D you need to change audio output on the Oppo from bitstream to PCM. Did you try this already?

In the meantime Auro3D works except under some special circumstances, but my info is that bitstream is mandatory...
One remaining bug is that if you have e.g. a DTS-track and switch on the Auromatic, any break (pause or stop during movie) will lead to complete silence and requires to completely switch off both MP-50 and Oppo 203, sometimes more than once ...

Don't worry, I assume they will figure it out eventually. All processors have bugs (even Stormaudio, Datasat and Trinnov, but they are probably faster in fixing them). Apart from these minor issues, you will probably have a lot of fun...

No, when mine is in standby, not signal to the TV. Suits me as I even want to hear Sky News through the MP-50. :)

Quite a few processors/AVRs don't do passthrough as well - the NAD only could if you set BluOS standby to on - then it was determined that used quite a bit of power so i disabled it - I must admit on my MP50 I don't find no passthrough an issue - george

A well balanced system can be used for all viewing. No need for pass thorough.
