I have ordered a DVDO EDGE, to replace my Lumagen Vision DVI. I still have a panasonic ph9 screen(will be replaced by new panasonic or pioneer in a few months).
On the DVDO edge however I won' t be able to get it 1:1 pixel mapped with the panasonic ph9(using DVD-board) at [email protected] 50 Hz.
I will be able to output a good 720p picture from the dvdo edge and let the panel do the scaling till 1024x768p.
Would it be possible to do this?
Digital cable box(like sky HD) output 1080i(hd)/576p(sd)-> DVDO edge processing the picture(deinterlace and scale for hd or prep, deinterlace and scale for sd) and then output a 720p picture-> lumagen Vision DVI(just scale, no other processing), lumagen vision DVI outputting a [email protected]> panasonic 42ph9 (input DVI-board, ty-42tm6d).
