Anyone seen the 'trailer' for the 'movie' Lucky Star, starring Bennicio del Torro, directed by Michael Mann ?

Thought it looked quite interesting - 'til I realised it's actually an advert for the new Mercedes SL..... !!

Now I hear they may actually make the movie.....

This advert really got my attention in the 3 or 4 times that ive seen it.Couldnt decide whether it was a movie trailer or a car advert, still cant:confused: All in all,a very clever advert.

    Have to agree with Garrett

What is the point of an add if no one knows what the hell it is suposed to be selling .I don't realy think an add is doing it's job if the only way to find out what the hell it is on about is to look on the net .

It reminds me of the "Mr plow" ad that homer has made on an ep of the simpsons

Most ads that are obscure at least have the brand clearly visable at the end of the add , this dos'nt even have that .I personaly don't even think it makes a good trailer , it just seems a little disjointed and dos'nt realy stick in my mem. I had seen it a couple of times and not realy taken that much notice of it .I only realy looked out for it and with any interest after i heard about it's true nature on this forum

    Is this a TV ad?
I've not seen one on TV but the one on the cinema DVD (played in the lobby) and the one used as a trailer before films is advertising a film. (at least I think it is)

I presume it'll be like the Men in Black and Head and Shoulders, or Land Rover and Tomb Radier where they advertise for each other.
