    Hi all,
    I've got a Kenwood KRF9050D AV/R & a Pioneer 636D DVD player.
I'm trying to find the best speakers that can go with the AVR capacity, but have a ltd budget.

Ideally, I would not want to spend more than £5-700 on speakers, but am having a hard time figuring out whats what. I will probably spend more time watching movies than listening to music. The music is v. eclectic from 70s rock to hip hop to acoustic bassy world music. I am a TOTAL novice so am looking for advice on what to look for.

In a perfect world, I would prefer wall mounted speakers (not in wall) rather than floor standing b/c my space is ltd. The room i am putting them in is rectangular (about 10 by 15 feet).

I was looking at the Bose AM 10s but was told by friends to stay away. They've suggested KEFs but I don't think those look attractive (imho) at all. Any advice helpful.

    Yours in confusion,
    B.
