Hi there . I just got a Panasonic TX-58EX700B 58" Smart 4K Ultra HD HDR LED TV .
Only one problem I am having is the sound is too low . Iv'e tried many settings but not making much difference .
I only have a sky+ box connected and the sound is the same through the TV tuner as through the sky box .
PS I do have hearing difficulties but I use my TV ear device however the rest of the family need the volume bar away up about 80-90 .

    Suggestions welcomed greatly .

    Thanks

I too own a Panasonic Tv and wear a NHS hearing aid. My set is about three years old and I believe has downward firing speakers.
Volume when used is set around 60.
Need to know how your TV is mounted and how your speakers fire?

TV is mounted on the stand it came witch sits on a glass unit . The speakers are along the bottom of the TV .

What type of audio connection are you using? Optical?

    It’s the built in sound.

Yes its the built in sound . Played around with the "USER DEFINED " settings for a while and it seems a bit better but I don't believe it is going to get any better . Im thinking of taking it back to Currys and going for a Sony but whether they will exchange as there is no hardware fault is a different story .
Please don't tell me to buy a soundbar .

Not guaranteed that a different model will be any better. Sound is a major weakness for most new TVs, it’s why the soundbar market exists and is booming at the moment.

Do you have an old stereo you could take speakers from? The issue is the direction of the sound - it’s either downward or backward firing and then becomes slightly muffled as it bounces off surfaces.
