OK, so not exactly original, but tonight's crescent moon. Looks quite Low Key to me :)

Moon
by iWanders, on Flickr

Camera: Canon 600D
Lens: Sigma 70-300
Date / Time: 26/06/20 21:47
Shutter: 1/20
Aperture: f/10
ISO: 100
Focal Length: 300 (tripod used & remote shutter button)

In Photoshop Elements: Crop, levels changed to make the sky blacker, and midtone, and then sharpened.

I shot it on several nights this week, but all hand held, and most were blurry. But as the moon was higher in the sky tonight (as it gets later by about 1 hour each day) it was later in the evening that I was able to shoot and as such the kids were in bed, and I had time to get the tripod out.

Very nice - you don’t get a bigger stage to play with than that!

I‘d never thought of the moon as a subject of low key photography, but it’s perfect!
