Does anyone know of a low cost Stereo amp which has optical inputs into it.
    Low cost means below £150.

    Thanks

An optical in would require a DAC to get anything from it (optical is digital signal carrier) so £150 is rather tight. you'll need an AV amp of some sort or a stereo amp and separate DAC.

Try getting a DAC second hand thru ebay and maybe researching some good used amp bargains too, older arcam and nad units can be had at good prices.
