Low contrast on DVD Player

    Are there any DVD players that you can adjust the video level output (or contrast). My Wharfey 750s has no adjustment controls.
    I need more oommphh (technical term) on a tv that's already on max!

    I've just bought a jvc xv-n5 and it has more picture controls than you can shake a stick at, the picture and sound are also superb!

    The ambridge Audio range have that facility - only available at Richer Sounds though.

    I'm not sure, but I have the feeling the bare bones DVD interlaced output is the same for all 3 models (53, 55, 57), except 55 has pro-scan, and 57 has pro-scan and DVD-A.

    If that's the case, the 53 will do. The 57 has better picture quality than the Limit 9900SE, but not quite as good as the Toshiba 520 (or maybe 220 - not seen one yet).

    RS are good with returns, so you can try it and see if you like it.
