I've been a member for about 18 months. They seem to go through phases with me. Good for a while then crap, then better again.

I have had one film in my queue for about 12 months, I keep putting it first in the queue, but they still haven't sent it. Begining to think they don't actually have a copy of it.

In my experience, Lovefilm are by far the worst of the dvd rental companies and their customer service (or lack thereof) is nothing short of a disgrace.

    I wouldn't touch them with a bargepole!

I tried them for a while over a year ago but didn't have any problems worth mentioning. It was a short experiment to try and save money but the collector bug got hold of me again

However, I just noticed this article on the BBC news. Seems they had a 530% increase in business last year! Could this explain the poor service of late? i.e. the company is not growing fast enough to meet the demand.

Agreed, tried them all and been a lovefilm member twice and in my opinion they were poor, very poor.

Yes I tried them but changed to Screenselect who have been excellent. Lovefilm's discs never seemed to work properly and were often badly scratched:thumbsdow

Used Screen Select. Never had a first choice title in over 50 deliveries.

Now use MyMovieStream. Never had a second choice title! In other words every title I ever get is the one placed at the top of the list.

50 deliveries in and they have been utterly superb.

I gave up with Lovefilm as I wasn't getting the "unlimited" number of discs that I wanted. They start off OK but soon go downhill as they look after the newer members rather than those who have been with them for a while.

I've been with lovefilm a long time and have been very very pleased on the whole.

HOWEVER, just recently things have indeed taken a turn for the worse. I have twelve titles in my que and apparently. they are all "out". I'm finding that in order to actually be sent something you have to add titles that you have no interest in watching.

I'm on the 3 DVDs at a time service and at the moment it appears I may aswell be on the 1 disc plan. LoveFilm have failed to grow as their popularity has done and therefore they are failing loyal customers.

I won't be there much longer if things continue as they are now.
