On Wednesday in the evening as I have got to work during the day. Best of all though ROTK next year comes out on my birthday, so I am going to take the day off and see it up in London - what a birthday present:)

I'm waiting til the kids are back at school (everyone else's, I don't have any) after Xmas and going for an afternoon screening. Hopefully my lady will manage to keep awake for this one. I still can't believe she slept through the whole Moria sequence of FOTR and woke up asking "where's Gandalf gone?"

I guess I'll make do with the Extended version several more times before I go and see the new one.

going on wednesday night to star city, birmingham - SCREEN 12! the best screen anywhere outside london's odeon leicester sq! i'm even braving seeing my mad ex (she works there) to see it there.

going to watch FOTR extended (again) the night before.

i dont think i've ever looked forward to a film as much as this one. i cant wait to see Gollum in action. from what i've read, its going to make Mr Lucas and Jar Jar look very very sad indeed. it will be great to see a film thats part of a trilogy thats decently directed and scripted.

shifted all my kit round last night and then put on FOTR to demo, my gf said "I can't believe I went to see this boring film at the cinema with you!", twenty minutes after I had switched on the DVD she hadn't said another word and her eyes were glued to the screen!:D that's was a successful demo then.

are you mad! watch it now... NOW! Don't wait any longer. As I said I put it on for a quick demo last night and was very tempted to watch it all the way through again (this is a three plus hour long film and it was about 11pm). It's what DVD was made for.

Going to wait a couple of days, then see it.

Sad admission: the trailer for TTT consistently gives me goosebumps.

I think it's going to be much better than FOTR, which was good, but doesnt quite make the classic status I think.

However, even FOTR grinds all the new Star Wars films well and truly into the ground.

Watched FOTR again last night... and my god I really can't wait for the sequel now, I'm amazed at the repeat viewing value of FOTR I can watch it quite regularly and its still as fresh as the first time I saw it. Looking at it now I'm surprised it ever got finished at all, virtually every damn shot involves considerable effects work!

    ROLL ON NEXT WEEK!!!

I saw TTT at the Premiere in Liecester Square Wednesday evening, it is fantastic! Peter Jackson gave a speech before the film, and the producer and cast members came up on to the stage as well, pictures of them were taken.

Afterwards me and my girlfriend went to Capitol Radio (next door) and went on the Steve Penk show to talk about the Premiere.

Then we went to the Equinox in Liecester Sq to the after show party and met Peter Jackson, Billy Boyd, Dominic Monaghan, John Rhys-Davies and Carl Urburn.

There was a free bar, free food and ice-cream, so we got very drunk and lots of photos with them. Will be going to the cinema soon to see it again.
