Just got round to watching LOTR. Did anybody else experience breakup/problems with sound and vision from around chapter 33 onwards?

Could be my player Pioneer 525 Techtronic mod RGB.

I have the R1 Canadian version - no noticable problems apart from horizontal lines running along the top & bottom of the picture, just above & below (within the picture) the letterboxing. Anybody else notice this- I am viewing on a 3 m wide projected image using a Tosh Sd510e

No problems with R1 Canadian on a Pioneer 444.

Has anyone read the little voucher book with this edition? Why would anyone want to buy a copy of the 'one ring'? I thought it was supposed to invoke a bit of evil!

    R1 Canadian/French copy on Arcam DV88

Finally got round to watching last night

First problem was the layer change - took ages - in fact I reached for the remote thinking the film had stopped completely but it did eventually move on.

Second problem was shortly after the layer change as they are all going into the hills where it is snowing the disc stopped completely here and then went back to the start.

I've since replayed this chapter (24 I think) and it hasn't done it since, maybe it was dirt on the disc?

I have noticed that the Arcam is a little susceptible to fingerprints etc so maybe that's what caused it. A little annoying though to happen at all :(

Just watched it and no problems at all here. Layer change was very quick, if it wasn't for unlock showing up on the receiver and then afd kicking back in I wouldn't of noticed.

    Tosh 900 btw.
