Hi guys - I have just noticed that the first disc for this version of Fellowship (ts) is on the BT network
The sample looks incredible.

hmm. I got the sample but how do I play the file. Its a TS file.

I use this player to playback .TS files on my windows PC.

I would check out Suprnova and use the Azureus client
VLC is the best player.

The fact that its a transport stream is great for lower spec PC users since it is less demanding than compressed WMV9

If you install the Elecard MPEG2 demuxer you should be able to play ts files with pretty much anything - including Windows Media Player 9 and ZoomPlayer (not that there is anything wrong with VLC).

Download and install the Elecard package and then go to the components manager which gets installed and untick the MPEG2 player but keep the demuxer. The demuxer is free but the player you have to pay for.

You should then be able to open the files in any directshow player.

where is the sample?

My playback stutters then fails after 30 secs of the gladiator HD TS version.

My video card is a Radeon 7500 and 1.8GHz P4 at 100Mhz.
Is this enough horsepower?

Thanks,

Steve.

the sample (and fisrt disc) is on suprnova - a BT site

This version of FOTR is not in OAR though - its cropped to 16:9 although some shots you see more than the DVD (super 35 process) There is a 1080p version which someone is discussing converting to WMV9 - here's hoping!
